Mike tells us that he was born in England, but has spent much of his life in South Africa. He, and his wife Margaret, moved to New Zealand in 2000. He started his career as a professional wood artist about 8 years ago. Since coming to New Zealand he has won many awards for his work, including " Best on Show" at the Auckland Royal Easter Show.
Much of his work is bought by international collectors.
